Accueil possible à la Porterie (réception), avenue d’Agaune 15, 1890 St-Maurice.

Nous accueillons volontiers les pèlerins et offrons des solutions d'hébergement, au prix modique de Fr. 35.-/nuit avec petit-déjeuner inclus. 

Pour réserver votre séjour sur la Via Francigena, nous vous remercions de bien vouloir utiliser le formulaire de réservation ci-dessous. En cas de problème, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter à l'adresse de messagerie  abbaye@stmaurice.ch. Aucune réservation n'est faite par téléphone. 

A noter que les chambres doivent être libérées par les pèlerins pour 9h au plus tard, le jour du départ. 

Reception is available at the Porter’s Lodge (Reception), Avenue d’Agaune 15, 1890 Saint-Maurice. We are pleased to welcome pilgrims and offer accommodation at the modest rate of CHF 35 per night, including breakfast. To book your stay on the Via Francigena, please use the pre-booking form below. If you experience any issues, please contact us at abbaye@stmaurice.ch.

En suivant Maurice et ses compagnons, le pèlerin est invité à prier avec les Martyrs puis à se laisser guider, à leur suite, au cœur d'une émouvante et riche histoire d'amour et de fidélité.

À travers les innombrables richesses spirituelles de l'église abbatiale, du site archéologique et du Trésor, le pèlerin accomplit un véritable voyage intérieur à la rencontre du Christ.

By following Saint Maurice and his companions, pilgrims are invited to pray with the Martyrs and allow themselves to be guided through a moving and profound history of love and fidelity.

Through the spiritual treasures of the Abbey Church, the archaeological site and the Treasury, pilgrims embark on a true inner journey in encounter with Christ.

UNE EXPÉRIENCE SPIRITUELLE TRAVERSANT LA VIE DE CHACUN COMME UN CHEMIN VERS LA VISION DE DIEU

Déroulement du pèlerinage

• La porte principale : le témoignage des martyrs interroge la foi de chacun.
• Le chemin des vitraux : une « tapisserie de lumière » racontant l'histoire du martyre de saint Maurice et de ses compagnons.

Station 1 : la chapelle du Martyre, un lieu de vénération et de prière. Prier avec les martyrs, autour d'eux et au milieu d'eux, porté par leur présence invisible.

Le chemin des vitraux : la gloire des martyrs rayonne par leur culte.

Station 2 : devant le Chœur. Méditer avec les quatre grandes figures spirituelles de l'Abbaye :

• Saint Maurice: témoin de la vérité;
• Saint Augustin: assoiffé de beauté et d'amour;
• Saint Théodule: les voies de communication de la foi;
• Saint Sigismond: au milieu des ambiguïtés humaines.

Station 3 : Tombeau de saint Maurice et visite du site archéologique selon un point de vue spirituel. (horaires et tarifs)

Station 4 : le baptistère. L'acte de foi des baptisés est celui des martyrs ayant participé de façon visible à la passion du Christ.

Le pèlerinage peut être fait sans la station 3.

Possibilité de faire ensuite le chemin des Stèles jusqu'à Vérolliez.

A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE TOWARDS THE VISION OF GOD

Pilgrimage journey

• The main entrante : the witness of the martyrs invites each pilgrim to reflect on faith.
•  The stained-glass pathway : a tapestry of light recounting the martyrdom of Saint Maurice and his companions.

Station 1 : Martyrs’ Chapel, a place of veneration and prayer.

Pray with the martyrs, around them and among them, sustained by their invisible presence.

The stained-glass pathway reflects the glory of the martyrs through their witness.

Station 2 : In front of the Choir. Meditate with the Abbey’s four great spiritual figures :

• Saint Maurice: a witness to truth
• Saint Augustine: a thirst for beauty and love
• Saint Theodule: pathways of fait and communication 
• Saint Sigismund: faith amid human uncertainty

Station 3 : Tomb of Saint Maurice and visit to the archaeological site from a spiritual perspective (opening hours and admission fees apply).

Station 4 : The Baptistery. The act of faith of the baptized echoes that of the martyrs who visibly participated in Christ’s Passion.

The pilgrimage may also be undertaken without Station 3.

It is also possible to continue along the Steles Path to Vérolliez.
