Depuis 1700 ans, Saint-Maurice a été pour les chrétiens un lieu de pèlerinage auprès du tombeau des saints martyrs, Maurice et ses compagnons. Dès la fondation de l’Abbaye, l’accueil des pèlerins a été une des activités majeures du monastère. Cette longue tradition est encore bien vivante de nos jours.
Aujourd’hui, l’Abbaye de Saint-Maurice vous propose plusieurs pèlerinages. Vous pouvez les suivre individuellement ou en groupe.
For 1700 years, Saint-Maurice has ben a place of pilgrimage for Christians visiting the tomb of the holy martyrs Maurice and his companions. Since the founding of the Abbey, welcoming pilgrims has ben one of the monastery's main activities. This long tradition remains alive to this day. Today, the Abbey of Saint-Maurice offerts several pilgrimage experiences that can be undertaken individually or as a group.

L’Abbaye est une des étapes de la Via Francigena. Grand Itinéraire culturel du Conseil de l'Europe, la Via Francigena est un des plus importants chemins de pèlerinage européens. Elle est parcourue par les pèlerins depuis le Moyen Âge.
